SABIE RIVER ADVENTURES  -  Terms & Conditions:

Booking, payment and cancellation policy:

 

We require a deposit of 50% of the total amount payable with confirmation of the booking. The balance is due not less than 14 days before the date of the activity. We will issue an invoice with our banking details when the booking is made.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Between date of confirmation and 31 days before the activity 25% of the total cost

30 - 15 days before the date of the activity 50% of the total cost

14 days or less before the date of the activity 100% of the total cost

No-show 100% of the total cost

 

Apart from ballooning, the activities offered at Sabie River Adventures are not weather dependent, and will take place unless the weather conditions are extreme. Any decision to cancel an activity due to inclement weather will be at the sole discretion of Sabie River Adventures or Balloons Over Africa.

 

General Conditions:

 

Clients of Sabie River Adventures are required to sign an indemnity as follows:

 

"I hereby acknowledge that neither Sabie River Adventures nor its owners, members, servants or agents, shall be in any way liable for injury, loss or damage to person or property sustained by my party or myself.

 

"I record that I am aware of and accept inherent risk involved in adventure activities. These risks include loss or damage to property, injury or fatality, accidents in inaccessible places without direct medical facilities and possible exposure due to inclement weather. I understand the need to be in good health to participate in any activities, and do not hold the company responsible for any medical conditions that may arise. I am aware that we are going through an area inhabited by wild animals and accept the associated risks thereof. I also expressly undertake to abide by the instructions given by the guides and employees of Sabie River Adventures.

 

"I hereby indemnify Sabie River Adventures and/or any landowners of property where activities take place, against any claims against it or any of its owners, members, servants, agents or sub-contractors, which may arise from any of the foregoing. No person shall be allowed to embark upon an activity unless and until, he or she is fully aware of and accepts this indemnity in favor of Sabie River Adventures, it's owners, members, servants, agents or any other associated party, and in the case of a minor, unless this indemnity has been accepted by the guardian of such minor."

I accept that I will be held liable for any damage caused (accidental or otherwise) to the quads whilst driving.

Clients with health considerations accept the responsibility to consult a doctor before undertaking an adventure.

 

We consider it unsafe to participate in adventure activities when pregnant.
